The Active Dossier relies on correctly configured Country and Country Language records to display country columns in the Active Dossier, determine supported languages for translation documents, and ensure accurate document matching and status calculation. Incorrect configuration can result in missing country columns, translation issues, or unexpected behavior.

Country Configuration

Vault uses the Country Code field to:

  • Map Country records to country columns in the Active Dossier Viewer.
  • Identify countries during Active Dossier generation.

The Country Code must align with the values defined by Vault. Values are case sensitive.

Vault does not support multiple countries using the same country codes. If duplicates exist, the Active Dossier viewer may not work as expected. Ensure each Country Code is unique across Country records. See the full list of supported Active Dossier countries

Language Configuration

Vault uses Country Language records to:

  • Determine which languages are valid for each country.
  • Support translation document handling in Active Dossier.

English Language Requirement

Vault performs a case-sensitive check for English using the Language Code. The English Language record must have Language Code = EN. If not configured correctly, documents may not be recognized as English and translation logic may fail.

Non-English Languages

Country Language records must exist for each language supported per country. Missing records may prevent translation documents from being recognized when creating Active Dossier records for Countries missing valid Country Language records.
