Note: This feature is only available on RIM Submissions Archive Vaults. If you’ve already configured this feature for the legacy Submissions Archive Viewer, additional configuration is not required for the newer, enhanced viewer available in 22R3. See RIM Application Settings & Configuration Options and About the New Submissions Archive Viewer.
Enabling Correspondence in Viewer
To enable Vault to display a submission’s correspondence documents in the Viewer tab, navigate to Admin > Settings > Application Settings and select the Show Correspondence in Viewer checkbox. Next, select the Document Type to represent correspondence in your Vault, for example, Regulatory > Correspondence.
Once configured, Vault uses an asynchronous process to identify correspondence documents of the selected document type with the Applications (
applications__v) or Applications (
applications__v) and Submissions (
submissions__v) fields populated to display in the Viewer tab. Vault makes subsequent additions or changes to correspondence documents or submissions in near real-time.
Enabling Correspondence on Bulk Exports
When the Show Correspondence in Viewer setting is enabled for your Vault, you can choose whether or not Vault includes correspondence in bulk submission exports. To include correspondence documents in exports, navigate to Admin > Settings > Application Settings and select the Include Correspondence documents on bulk export checkbox.
